My Clone Babies

Do you know my babies??? One is Journey, the other Willow. The question for you is which is which? I removed the backgrounds to make it more fair. There is still one tell-tale sign if your memory is good. Other than that you have to know their faces. I bet Poetry gets it right without any hints! Leave a comment or email me your decision. :)

Monster Jam

The Grave Digger..our favorite truck until he met.....(sorry for the blurry pictures, we are still learning the new camera!) BATMAN! Journey of course loves The Monkey's Uncle...a.k.a. Donkey Kong. The only shot journey stayed in only captured her hairbow! Note to self, buy a faster camera or slower kids.

Names...

Everyone always asks how we picked our kids' names. I answered in regard to Willow, and thought I would write the story behind all fo the kids' names over the coming days. First up...Princess Willow Lillianna Skye

Willow was Patricia SueAnn for 2 months in utero. I always wanted to name a girl after my late grandmother, Patsy Ruth. I wanted to include my mom in that, Peggy Sue. I knew from the moment DH suggested it, that this wasn't a Patricia. I tried to make her one, but she just isn't. Unfortunately anyway you slice it, all combinations of Patsy Ruth and Peggy Sue = a hickname! I am half-hillbilly/half redneck, but don't like hick names still!
So I drove Dh crazy telling him we had the name wrong, until one night I asked for Willow, which means God-like. Willow Skye....God-like heavens. However I was still torn about not honoring my mother somehow, so I played with ways to keep Sue which means lily. I wish I had been able to work Pat into her name. Instead I will teach her the lessons taught to me by my beloved Granny Pat. One day I will introduce her to Granny in heaven. :-)
December 1st we knew we were awaiting the arrival of Princess Willow Lillianna Skye...a god-like lily of the heavens and our Little tree. :)

Welcome to our family blog. Thank you for joining us on our path of learning. Check in daily to see us grow, learn, and share our creative side.
First, a little about each of us.
Poetry is excelling at softball. She is super excited about the world series this year. Poetry is looking forward to introducing her cousin to her "cool coach" this summer. Fifth grade is wrapping up.
Adventurous Miss Autumn has decided she wants to play ball. She has gone for a couple of pitching lessons with Ms. Jaime. She will play pitching machine this year. Autumn is our budding artist. She creates storybooks, and loves drawing from different perspectives right now. She has come a long way this year and will complete first grade at the end of May.
Wesley is our monster truck enthusiast. Grave Digger is his all time favorite, with Batman and El Torro close seconds. Little man will start t-ball again in April. It will be his first time on a team without anyone he knows. A great time to bust out of that shell he sometimes hides in! He loves school and will complete Kindergarten sometime around December.
J-bird got an invitation to Monster Jam by her big brother this year. She has been consumed by the sport. To her delight, there is a "monkey's uncle" monster truck, Donkey Kong. If anyone sees a toy Donkey Kong in the stores, let us know!!! lol Elmo is still the star of her world. She insists upon doing school with the big kids, and is still queen bee around here.
Princess Willow is getting an attitude, but still an easy baby. Monday we will find out her weight!
